The Brand "Heimatwerk"
In Austria the Brand „Heimatwerk“ is protected by law and it can only be run by firms which correspond to the Heimatwerk’s ideas and goals. In the Kuratorium Österreichisches Heimatwerk (Austrian Heimatwerk board of trustees) every Heimatwerk of every Austrian federal state is represented. Beyond that every Heimatwerk is a member in the Verband Europäisches Heimatwerk (the European Heimatwerk association) with 14 member countries at present. For particularly cultural and economical achievements the institution Salzburger Heimatwerk was awarded in 1996 to have the authority of using Salzburg’s coat of arms.
