The Salzburger Heimatwerk is a platform for consulting, selling and exhibition as well as a cultural organizer for a broad spectrum of folkloric- and cultural everyday life remarks. With its technical competence concerning the Austrian traditional costume, arranged craft and other segments the Salzburger Heimatwerk is responsible for important sections of our cultural landscape, in a constant dynamic area of tension between tradition and innovation.
The diverse range in the Salzburger Heimatwerk’s departments is the mirror image of the Salzburg’s population’s high esthetic and artistic claim, but also of the plenty regular costumers from the bordering federal states and the Bavarian neighbors.
